Areas of Practice

Education

We take pride in our educational programs. The VARK model describes four types of learning: visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic. We utilize every opportunity to touch every learning type to maximize retention and practice to benefit of the employee, facility and patient.

We have oversold seminars, put together hands on in-services and have led and taught DSDs to continue in-servicing other employees.

“The quality of each facility is directly related to the quality, knowledge, and culture of the nursing staff.” - -Dr. Decker

Pre-Survey Evaluations

The fear of the unknown and for being judged nearly paralyzed many people and organizations. We are there with you every step of the way.

Our pre-survey evaluation focuses on the core. Through a detailed and thorough analysis, we identify areas that could result in deficiencies and provide specific solutions and protocols. In addition, we support the team to make appropriate adjustments.

Survey (Pre and Post-Survey

One of the most challenging times of the year for every facility. There’s a lot of potential and all we want is success, but the rules and specifics can seem convoluted and vague at best. Protecting your facility and patients is our utmost concern. We will negotiate, investigate, and resolve on your behalf with the overseeing agency to ensure that a legitimate and acceptable survey with results occurs and is also resolved.

Ongoing Member Support

Our network and experience allows us to anticipate changes prior to these being enacted. In addition, we are able to keep our Facility Partners up to date on all ongoing clinical, regulatory, administrative, and infectious protocols. We handle the paperwork, research, process, education, and providing policies along with trainings on nearly every aspect of post-acute care.

Systems Analysis

The focus on healthcare and healthcare spending is on the system. With the introduction of QAPI and a focus on solving potential issues or ongoing issues through reporting, awareness, planning, implementation and then revision and review the entire delivery of healthcare can be summarized by a series of systems. We take pride in addressing the systems that start while a patient is still in the hospital before they are even admitted all the way until discharge and final documentation storage.

Expansion to SubAcute (or additional Beds)

With dozens of successful applications for subacute expansion, we have the skills to provide focused expertise. The regulations and review process can seem daunting and even limit the thought application, however, with our streamlined expansion methodology the process becomes simple.
